This 5-day class is suitable for beginners, or any maker interested in learning about bending wood, how much you can push it, and what happens when it reaches its limit. It will introduce you to the delights of steam bending, hot pipe bending and laminating. We will cover the use of steam bending equipment, forms and clamping techniques as well as the specific preparation of timber for each of these various processes.
