This 4-Day "taster" course is for the absolute beginner, offering a convenient and accessible opportunity to come and have a go at some woodworking.
This two–week introductory course for the beginning enthusiast will establish a solid skill base and provide the foundation skills for future fine woodworking.
If you have taken some classes for hand cut joinery or our beginner classes but are not familiar with the machining process then this is the class for you. The focus of this 5-day class is the machining process and it covers every step from selecting the rough sawn timber, milling the components to final dimension, all the way through to completing a pair of stools.
This two–week course is designed for the intermediate to advanced maker and offers a wonderful opportunity to build one of David Haig’s iconic designs - the elegant, practical and very comfortable hoop stool.
