Why Support the Centre for Fine Woodworking.
The CFW is a non-profit charitable trust and like all charities who strive for excellence we are dependent on receiving donations.
These donations will enable us to:
Maintain one of the finest woodworking schools in the world, teaching at the highest level of our craft.
Train and further develop our group of tutors on whom the high quality and the long-term future of the CFW depends
Continue to attract world leading international tutors to teach both the full time and short course programme.
Provide a full syllabus ranging from our flagship 32-week Furniture Makers’ programme the students of which will form the core of those carrying on the traditions of finest woodworking for future generations, to the range of short courses bringing professional quality woodworking skills to a diverse range of people.
We need to build donation into our future funding as all charities seeking excellence have come to do in recent years. We accept the challenge of funding on this basis and will continue to seek it from past students as well as commercial sponsors.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Monthly Donations
A monthly donation of $25 is the equivalent of a reasonably priced cup of coffee each week.
Our target for this funding approach is to reach 200 monthly donors. The Board and Friends have started this off as the 10 initial donors. Please become one of the next 190.
Friends of the School Annual Donation
Consider becoming a member of the ‘Friends of the School’ programme through an annual donation of $200.
This would assist us with operating and overhead expenses.
One-off Donation
A larger donation or bequest of an amount of your choosing.
