An evening with Stuart Faulkner - 6th June, 2025
Stuart trained and worked as a scientific illustrator and designer in London before embarking on a career in woodworking. Stuart has taught short courses at Sturt and was the fulltime director of the Certificate IV Furniture course in 2010 and in
2013. Stuart was also head teacher of Furniture and Product Design at the Centre for Furnishing Trades, Lidcombe TAFE.
For the past decade, Stuart and his wife Carol have offered woodworking courses in Sydney under the banner Heartwood Creative Woodworking.
Stuart teaches short courses and on the FMP at The Centre for Fine Woodworking.
